COLLIN offers mono blown film dies with axial or radial spiral mandrel distributor – depending on the desired expandability or application.
Multi-layer dies for 2 up to 13 layers are suitable for different numbers of layers. For these processes, COLLIN delivers dies with radial spiral mandrel distributors, moreover, different mandrels and matrix are available. The retrofitting between different layers can easily and quickly be realised – e. g. from 3-layer to 5-layer.
Axial spiral mandrel distributor blown film dies
- Use: for mono-layer blown films
- Standard die diameter: 25 mm to 100 mm
- Due to the own design of the die geometry and the simulation of the flow in the die, also special dies for materials with difficult flow characteristics can be developed.
Radial spiral mandrel distributor blown film dies
- Use: for multi-layer blown films
- Layers: up to 13 layers, easy change between different layer configurations
- Highest layer thickness constancy
- High flexibility by easy retrofitting between different layer configurations
