Long-time employee Thomas Nick is now responsible for the international sales of extrusion systems for medical & pharma

Since 1 November 2020, Thomas Nick, as Sales Director has been responsible for the international sales for the business division medical/pharma at COLLIN Lab & Pilot Solutions GmbH. As partner of the plastic processing companies, in the medical/pharma sector, COLLIN wants to strengthen its international position in order to push the change in this sector significantly.

“Thomas Nick has more than 24 years of experience in sales in the plastic industry. Therefore, he is the perfect person for this job”, says Corné Verstraten (CSO). “Thus, we are perfectly prepared for the challenges in this quickly growing market and will continue to force the path we have already taken regarding medical tubing as well as drug-loaded polymers.“

Together with his colleagues, Nick should consequently adapt the division medical/pharma to the changing market and customer requirements.

Since 2007, Thomas Nick has been working at COLLIN. Before this internal change, he already was responsible for different regions in the world and has made significant contribution to the development of the markets in Latin America. Nick has comprehensive commercial competence and offers a diversified background in the plastic industry. Already in the past, he was responsible for complex projects in the medical sector. Most recently, he was Vice CSO at COLLIN.
